We're hardwired to reproduce, so there have to be ways of singling out the best mate. Without physical attraction, people would feel no need to approach someone to try and form a relationship. We'd all die out.
It's nature, it's in all species. If cockroaches were pink and fluffy we'd love them.
Nature makes it that we want the best/healthiest offspring and it therefore makes us attracted to the best looking/healthiest ones for a partner.

sure, just look at all the bottle blondes they have there, and here. and the blue eyes, yes. althought they don't call them blue eyes, they call them colored eyes. when i first introduced my husband to co-workers, many remarked to me..oh he has colored eyes. and when they met my daughter (from a different man), i got to hear. 'oh you only like blonde men with colored eyes, don't you?' like i was being elitest. i since i am brown, many where i work are surprised that i am associated with white people. all of the boyfriends i've ever had (40ish?)were white except one. it's just because that's all i've ever known. many mexicans live in this town, but none of them like to hang out where i do, so i don't know too many. except for my mothers side of the family.Is it true the standard of beauty in Mexico is blonde hair blue eyes and thin?

If you look at any group of upper-class, wealthy Mexicans without knowing where they are from, you'll have trouble guessing. They look like they could be from New York, Paris, Berlin or Madrid.
So it is much more about social caste than any actual ideal of beauty, just like it is with American blacks. For many of them, there's a premium on looking ';whiter'; because traditionally that's where the money and the power were and the least discrimination.

Well...the federal minimum wage right now is $5.85 an hour (going up to $6.55 on July 24th of this year). Now you didn't say what you'd be doing in the beauty salon. If you'll be getting tips they can pay you a little less. If your a hairdresser and you rent a booth you only make what you charge your customers minus your expenses. Hope this helps!

I wish that my daughter would of asked me this question when she was in highschool...I will tell you a secret, about being popular....When I was in school I realized that when you speak to other people you should always make it about them..The number one thing that all people like to do is to talk about themselves...I did this and ended up with about 5 groups of friends all of which didn't like each other..But I was never bored and always had someone to go out with..Something that my daughter never had ...These girls are still my friends even though more then 20 yrs. has passed..Key is learnig how to be a friend...My daughter to this day still does not have any real friends(she would never take my advice on this)))I wonder how she will find someone to be in her wedding!!!How can I improve my inner beauty?
the first thing you have to do is like your self. look in the mirror every day and keep telling your self you are a good person and a nice person. you can't please every one so please yourself.
you have to like your self the way you are. i wasn't popular in school. i talked to my self every day in the mirror. when i started to believe it my hole out look changed. when that happened it showed and my whole life changed. good luck.

Hair dressers...well I've had my experience with them, and I always did my hair better than they, being a professional, could. Not just one either...I think I can count maybe 3 or 4. I never get what I want from them because most hair dressers think a like. They hear you say what you want but in their minds it translates as something different and you end up with what they think would be good on you based on their personal, unprofessional opinion.
Sorry...not trying to ruin your hopes or anything. But just because someone has a plaque on their wall doesn't mean they know what they're doing. I was brought up in a very handy, DIY house-hold, so that's probably why I feel that way.
I think a Masseuse would be good because not only will you have opportunities in hospitals and specialty clinics, but also many salons. It's your choice though.
um, I don't know. depends on where u r really. If it pays good then go ahead but if it doesn't ...I don't know.. I mean don't expect any gratitude from the customers!

I think they are all wonderful when they dont talk! U can be the best by just being a great listener! Good Luck its a lot of giving and not much receiving, so you need to be patient!

Why are there so many beauty salons/tailor shops closing here?
I have noticed that there are a lot of these lady's shops closing down yet when I go to a beauty shop at night they are almost always packed with people especially wednesday and thursday nights and there are very few formal dress stores in Riyadh so I assume that people are having them tailed so why are some many closing? Is the recession effecting Saudi more these days?Why are there so many beauty salons/tailor shops closing here?

It sounds like a great place to get shagged. I would take my youngest son there. The little shaver might enjoy it. Just be careful. The first cut is the deepest. This truly could be a hair salon to dye for. Could I bring my pet jack rabbit in so that you could cut the hair on my hare? Let me mullet it over for awhile. I may take my soccer team in for a trim so I can get the whole crew cut. It could be just shear madness. Make sure your ad in the yellow pages is easy to find. You don't want people to have to comb through it. You want no part of that. Offer reasonable prices, too. You don't want to scalp your clientele. Use real poo, not that sham poo that is totally fake. You must condition your customer to sit still during his or her appointment. Use your head and watch for dandruff. People can be such flakes.

I wouldn't go there. Too negative. No one wants to curl up and die in your establishment. They want to feel good about themselves, better leaving than entering. go with a more positive note.
