Wow, me too!!! I don't mean to, but it's just a weird habit that I've developed. It probably doesn't help that my dad's a cosmetic surgeon, so I've been able to see him criticize every girl that I found to be absolutely flawless. If it's having that much of an effect on your life, then perhaps you should seek psychiatric help.I tend to observe woman's flaws instead of their beauty?

';When you help protect the cells from damage and disintegration, you also guard against premature aging. In this respect, these fruits may very well help keep your skin younger looking longer,'; says Heller.

Healthy Oils. These contain more than essential fatty acids. Eating good-quality oils helps keep skin lubricated and keeps it looking and feeling healthier overall, Lipski tells WebMD.
Which oils are the right oils for healthy skin? Lipski says those labeled cold pressed, expeller processed, or extra virgin are the ones to look for.
';When an oil is commercially processed, the first thing they do is add solvents and raise them to really high temperatures, then put it though five or six processes. Important nutrients are lost,'; says Lipski.
By comparison, she says when oils are prepared by the cold-press or expeller process, or, in the case of olive oil, are extra virgin, preparation involves only pressing, heating, and bottling.
';You get all the nutrients that are not only good for your skin, but good for your body,'; says Lipski.

Experts say selenium plays a key role in the health of skin cells. Some studies show that even skin damaged by the sun may suffer fewer consequences if selenium levels are high.
For instance, in two clinical trials, researchers at Edinburgh University showed that when levels of selenium were high, skin cells were less likely to suffer the kind of oxidative damage that can increase the risk of cancer. The results were published in 2003 in both the British Journal of Dermatology and the journal Clinical and Experimental Dermatology. And a group of French researchers found that oral doses of selenium, along with copper, vitamin E and vitamin A could prevent sunburn cell formation in human skin.

beauty to me is someone who doesnt think of themselves in this world of selfishness. they humble themselves even though they have confidence. someone who doesnt judge ppl becuz of their past/actions/appreance. someone who appreciates life and doesnt regret things. someon different. someone who has standards and isnt easy (you know wat i mean) .Some one who is beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside to.
ive only found a few ppl in my lifetime who i truely consider to have real beauty.but i am ONLY 15 years old.lol
not saying tht all ppl are not beautiful. ofcourse they are. there are tons. but there are only a few, RARE, people who are truely unique and genuine.

*If you have green eyes, try using a lite green eyeshadow, or plum eyeshadow, it makes your eyes stand out. Add lite pink, or clear lipgloss with it.
*If you want the smoky look, try using browns and lite grays, instead of black and dark grays, or for a dramatic smokey-eyed look, use deep purple shadow and liner. Pair that with a shiny clear or light neutral colored gloss.
*When using liquid foundation, mix a little foundation with some aloe vera lotion and apply it. It makes it feel lighter and airy. You don't have that caked on feeling.

BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy?
Has anybody done this course? i can't decide whether to choose this (because you can go to uni after) or do the NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy and then Level 3, because apparently its really hard. Both courses you come out as a qualified beauty therapist so why is the BTEC supposed to be better?BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy?

I want to go to beauty school for 1 year before heading off to college...Is this a good idea? Pros and cons plz... Beauty pageants are put on by arrogant people for ignorant people to watch. It dumbs down the masses. It puts an idolized image in the minds of people who can't think for themselves. She's wanting to do a dance to the song ';Hips dont Lie'; by Shakira for her talent, and my husband and I are fine with it, but were wondering if a few ';pops'; and ';shimmies'; would be too innapropriate and count against her with the judges.In a beauty pageant, would it be acceptable to dance to ';hips dont lie'; by Shakira?
I would not use it. Especially for a pageant routine. Judges want to see something that is age appropriate, not something that has too much ';adult'; type language in the song and ';adult'; style moves to go with it. It would be looked at as inappropriate for a 12 year old.
Go with a fun song and she can do lots of jazz moves that don't have hip thrusts or shimmies involved. Have you spoken with her dance teacher about choreographing a routine for her? I'm sure she would help out with a great routine for this situation.
We have gone to many dance competitions that the routines with 12 yr olds were excellent technical routines and had no shimmies or pops as you are speaking of.
I actually have had judges tell me that I should not use a song from the movie Grease with a routine that I had 8 - 9 yr olds in. And I thought that it was just a fun song that everyone knows!!

I noticed something today while waiting in line at the local pharmacy store which surprised me.
The girl that serves behind the counter is absolutely beautiful. She has natural beauty, a lovely face, perfect teeth and beautiful long blonde hair. She presents herself really well and has a lovely manner to match her beauty.
A young guy walked into the store and was waiting for his prescription to be filled. Most people are captivated by this lovely young woman serving at the counter but NOT this man. While he was quite good-looking himself , he was captivated by another woman also waiting to be served. I am not putting her down but she was nothing spectacular. She was overweight, her hair was dirty and had no distinct style. She wore a sloppy dark grey jacket and was rather slumped in her posture. But he couldn't take his eyes off her.
Why is it that some men are attracted to women of NO beauty while others who are like models get un-noticed.

She like's tan, blond haired guys with brown/hazel eyes and are pretty fit. So yeah, it's all what preferences you have. Not everyone looks at weight and stuff. Liked it a lot. I think the right one had to leave. She lied, saying she only looked at her own file and even when they showed she was caught looking at others she went on and on and on like she deserved to be there and kept coming up with excuse after excuse. Didn't she just let the door slam in the coffee guys face? The other one that was with her in the bottom two might be next if shes not careful. And I loved watching them squirm and get uncomfortable when the actors put them down. Seems they need a few down to earth comments to show them that their human just like everybody else.

it was on after the bachelor, and i wasnt going to watch it but ended up getting sucked in. i think its kind of silly, and i know so many gorgeous people that are more attractive than the contestants. i think that this show should be called ';true arrogance';, as all of them constantly gush about their good looks.

Liked it a lot. I think the right one had to leave. She lied, saying she only looked at her own file and even when they showed she was caught looking at others she went on and on and on like she deserved to be there and kept coming up with excuse after excuse. Didn't she just let the door slam in the coffee guys face? The other one that was with her in the bottom two might be next if shes not careful. And I loved watching them squirm and get uncomfortable when the actors put them down. Seems they need a few down to earth comments to show them that their human just like everybody else.

it was on after the bachelor, and i wasnt going to watch it but ended up getting sucked in. i think its kind of silly, and i know so many gorgeous people that are more attractive than the contestants. i think that this show should be called ';true arrogance';, as all of them constantly gush about their good looks.
the twist is pretty obvious, and they are all clearly too dumb to see it coming. and that girl washing the dishes.. is she really that dumb?

So I have average colour teeth (they have always sort of been that way). In - Office teeth whitening from a dentist takes an hour (using britesmile or zoom) and using a smillar method from a beauty therapist, it takes about an hour aswell. However, the whitening from a bueaty therapist is HALF the price of a dentist. Do they have smiliar results?? In my experience in life, you always get what you pay for. If they're half price, there's a reason why. When I'm dealing with my body and it comes to a doctor/dentist, I'll pay extra to have it done right and by someone who is good and knows what to do if problems do arise. I don't know but the first season was really good and funny..2nd one was quite dissapointin to me because most of the beauties knew the plot and stuff already. First try the small pageant (low level) pageants will cost a lot as you go up so mom do the most like the high glitz pageants most of them have fake teeth,flippers, fake hair the hole nine yards but start off with local pageants like national american miss or a online pageant. then you will need to get pageant chouching like how to walk and stand dancing modeling ect..on stage, then custom made dress,sport wear,swmin wear ect..... hope i helped!How can i get my daughter into beauty pageants?
