Beauty pageants are put on by arrogant people for ignorant people to watch. It dumbs down the masses. It puts an idolized image in the minds of people who can't think for themselves. It is not about true beauty because contestants are so intent on winning they become ruthless b#$@^s who will stop at nothing to do so. Beauty contests were started by men who wanted sex. They used their power over those very young women to do what they wanted with them. I mean, come on, having to spout out your body measurements just to prove something. To enter you had to meet certain physical requirements and bust size was very important. Bigger means better, don't ya know?Why do you or do you not support beauty pageants?
I do not support beauty pageants because they judge women and sometimes kids by their ';beauty';.And you people who compete in the pageants do not need a person to tell you how pretty you are because everyone is beautiful in their own way. [sorry if i went overboard!!!]
The only thing I dislike about pageants are the fake rehearsed question and answer. It is not like these girls actually care about the issues they are talking about, they are programmed, like robots ,to say ';end world hunger';. I don't know, I just think it they shouldn't give rehearsed answers, they should come from the heart.

they parade around in their ugly clothes
they support kids showing off ***
they turn kids into brats

Because they parade women like cattle and ask them dumb questions to make them look dumber. Celebrate beauty by all means, but not at the expense of ignoring brains altogether
I do not because I think everyone is beautiful in their own way. Why do we need a skinny pretty faced DOLL to try to tell us we're not?
