Has anybody done this course? i can't decide whether to choose this (because you can go to uni after) or do the NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy and then Level 3, because apparently its really hard. Both courses you come out as a qualified beauty therapist so why is the BTEC supposed to be better?BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy?
BTEC (British Technical Educational Council) is equavilent to OND (Ordinary National Diploma) which is more recognised for adult education system; Although NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) is good to the higher level,it is deemed as only a Crash course which is shorter term to learn the course unlike BTEC/OND which takes longer to attend (2-4 years). Go for the BTEC cos it's more recognised in UK.
