What you have is a modestly priced pinot that was harvested ripe and highly extracted to make it big an juicy. 1987 was a decent year in Sonoma although not great.
You may have something drinkable now if you're lucky, alhough I would have opened it young since that what the winery designed it for.
It is not a collector's item nor would it be an interesting auction item.
