Does anyone else think that child beauty pageants are wrong?

Tell me what your opinion of them isDoes anyone else think that child beauty pageants are wrong?
Well granted if we think they are wrong we cant do anything to change nothing about it. In my opinion they are wrong because a child shouldn't be involve in such things like that as in wearing make up, fake eye lashes, tans, bathing suits etc because a child is beautiful regardless. They might growing up thinking that's what they need to do in order to feel beautiful but in reality they not. They need to have a child beauty pageant where they can get in at ages 10 and up where they make decision for themselves cause at the age of 5 its nothing they can really do.Does anyone else think that child beauty pageants are wrong?

I think it's wrong if the child totally hates it and the mom/dad is making them do it. If the child loves it, then why not? If someone's 5 year old daughter wants to do ballet, or hockey or basketball they'd usually let them play. I think that pagents are just another hobby.





And I think they're able to say ';yes I want to try it'; or ';no mommy i dont want to do it';


Also the pagents are usually for a good cause. Who ever wins gets money for college and to put away until they're old enough.
Yeah. I think all the over exaggerating is wrong with the makeup and such. The child might grow up thinking that that is what they have to have and have to wear in order to be considered beautiful. Things like that should be banned from children beauty pageants. Other than that, they are ok to me.
I think so, or parents who put their kids in modeling, just so they can brag about their kids and make money off them.


I have family members who wanted to put my kids in competitions, I told them NO. I want my kids to realize there is more in life than looking good.


My kids aren't just objects to show off, and I want them to enjoy their childhood, not grow up too fast.
Yes, I sure do.especially when the kid has layers of make up on , fake boobs it doesn't allow the kid to be a kid like they should be. It's like if the parents are living through their kid. it's sad cuz in da future da kid is gonna have to wear make up cuz thur skin is messed up from the make-up.
They are absolutely wrong and those parents should be ashamed of themselves.
NO! if the kids want to be in a beauty pageant then it's there choice
