What is beauty??? What do you find beautiful, does beauty really exist?

It's all in the eye of the beholder. I think my daughter, home runs, the ocean, the Mogollon Rim, rainstorms, Der Hogiebread, naked women, my dog, friends, puppies, kittens, babies, ice cream and 1968 Pontiac Firebirds are all beautiful. So yes, for me beauty exists. What is beauty??? What do you find beautiful, does beauty really exist?
I guess when I think of beauty I think of the whole package. Pretty face, nice skin, nice hair, slim body. I think there are many different types of beauty, but I don't necessarily focus on looks alone... I guess I think in terms of the whole image. For example, some people would say Pamela Anderson is beautiful. She's slim, has the prototypical ';blond bombshell'; hair, tan, and so forth. I don't really think of her as beautiful, though... the skanky image she projects (her sex tape, her cliche tattoo, her huge implants) doesn't really make me think of her as a beautiful person. Someone who is classically pretty like Petra Nemcova (she's the model who got caught in that tsunami) who also does some good is beautiful to me. Both her and Pamela have the physical points (but I will say Petra is prettier), but somehow she just seems to encompass beauty a lot more.

Beauty exists everywhere.. from things in nature to man-made things like Michelangelo's David sculpture. In people I think even if the person isn't classically beautiful, beauty can be found in them.. so i guess the whole ';beauty is in the eye of the beholder';. Sounds idealistic, but I think everyone has something good/beautiful to offer. What is beauty??? What do you find beautiful, does beauty really exist?
Humans are attracted to those that fit Marquardt's ';golden mask';.
Beauty is as beauty does. I find many things beautiful; from the sunset to flowers. Beauty exists in many forms.
Personality.

Personality unlocks everything. Your style (clothes), attitude, hair etc

And then it goes from there.

Everyone has there own opinion on ';beauty';. To some it exists yet to others it doesn't.
Interesting question.

Of course it's obvious that beuty is in the eye of the beholder, and therefore, anything can be seen as beutiful, at least to someone.

However, when trying to find out what people who are generally thought to be beutiful have in common, scientists have found two things:

1) simetry (when one half is the excact mirror-image of the other)

2) a certain porportion between parts of the face (eyes, nose, mouth...) in both size and location.

However, since the standard look for ';beuty'; changes from year to year, the porportion must therefore change as well.

In all my years I have learned that what I find beutiful is not really a certain type of look, but a certain type of unvisible glow that surrounds a person and is made up by her looks, her attitude, the way she carries herself, the way she interacts with others, and what I see when I look into her eyes.

Becaus beuty really does exist, but it comes in two forms: One is on the outside and is for your eyes to see. The other is on the inside and is for your heart to see. That one can last the whole life, but the other kind soon wears out.
Dear Too Good,

Beauty:

Its something attractive to ones mind;

1.The fondness towards it.

2.The liking towards it.

3. The love towards it.

4 .A splendid thing that difficult to illustrate

These as above goes to human being normally to a lady, scenery, an object, pictures, jewelry and nature.

What do you find beautiful;

Beautiful is an appreciation on ones mind towards human being, nature, jewelry and scenery, etc, etc.

Does beauty exist?

Yes beauty exist. Beauty is an abstract. Its not an object that cant be touch feel and hold. Its just like air. Colorless and can't be touch, feel and hold.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder--and yes-- beauty does exsist in many forms. Everyone sees things in a different perspective and I find that though in itself, beautiful.
who really knows for sure.
nobody knows...

people say it

but it doesnt mean it really exists..
very good question!

Beauty is commonly defined as a characteristic present in a person, place, object or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning or satisfaction to the mind or to the eyes, arising from sensory manifestations such as a shape, color, personality, sound, design or rhythm.[1] Beauty is studied as part of Aesthetics, Sociology, Social Psychology and Culture. Beauty, as a cultural creation, is also extremely commercialized. Beauty is a common form of chemistry, mixing chemicals together to create the perfect element. This contrast when beauty can be inner beauty, when one expresses deep sense of self.

and beauty is always in the eye of the beholder
beauty is a catchphrase of the Canadians. ';Beauty eh?'; which means ';that's nice...don't you agree?'; I find my mullet to be beautiful, and my mullet has been rocking out since 1984!!!
u probably find beauty in the mirror
beauty is different to everyone. Beauty can be someone who has this amazying look or someone who as a dazzling personality but, there is no exact answer
[ Beauty ] is eternal, unproduced, indestructable; neither subject to increase or decay......All other things are beautiful through a participation of it............This is the divine and pure.... the beautiful itself

Plato.
it exisit in the eye of the beholder

you can consider beauty different then someone ealse looks at it
yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is something different for every person. I do not think the commercialized beauty ideals matter at all.
it does; but it is in the eye of the beholder.
beauty does not exsist.

its in the eyes of the beholder.

what isnt beautiful to you

is to someone else.
