Most of the stories are centuries old and as for inspirations, no one can be sure what inspired what. I know that Cinderella strongly follows the story of Ashtenputtel.
Most of these stories follow the line of the woman being a heroine. She loses something, then through a series of challenges and eventually having to seek outside herself for help, she gains it back. All three of those the woman loses her father (thus her inheritance by old standards) and then gains a husband and greater inheritance. Snow White was a princess, she becomes a Queen. Sleeping Beauty was a princess, becomes a Queen. Cinderella was a noble-woman, becomes a Queen.
Rapunzel, The Swan Princess, The Princess and the Pea, they all have the same cycle. Heroine loses her inheritance, through troubles regains it through love with a prince.
