Mathematicians talk about beauty and elegance in mathematical models, but is there any Meaning in Mathematics?

Yes, true beautify is in the meaning.. Mathematical models would be meaningless if they didn't provide the key to seeing and understanding (leading to deeper appreciation) of the beauty of all that exists.

Mathematics is not just a bunch of meaningless numbers that lead to new meaningless numbers. No, they are an abstraction of the world we live in.. they relate to laws of nature, that describe the biological, chemical, physical, and even non-tangible structures of life. From the weather report, to the branching of trees, to the molecular connections, helping us apply this knowledge to create computers, air planes, medicines, even artificial intelligence that keep mimic'ing living creatures better and better, until we start recognizing ourselves in them..

Mathematics reveils structures and patterns in the universe that otherwise appears random and thus meaningless.

Beauty and Elegance is in those structures and patterns, when they perfectely fit together like pieces of a puzzle, reveiling yet another part of that picture in the puzzle of life.

We love it when pieces fit perfectely.. because we crave understanding of life. When pieces don't fit, they are not considered beautiful or pretty.. and causes us confusion and makes us feel lost and insecure. Unless you live by the philosophy that ignorance is bliss, and see the world as a random pile of things, that are not beautifully related and interconnected and thus take things as they are without questioning if and how they are related. The value is in the relationsions between things, not the things themselves. Mathematics generalize these relations.

This is true for all sciences, of which most, if not all (statistical models for example) require mathematics one way or another..

Fortunately, because I happen to suck at math :)Mathematicians talk about beauty and elegance in mathematical models, but is there any Meaning in Mathematics?
';eat ..sleep well.go around have fun with friends....watch good movies...crack good humour...enough ....that will be for

salvation'; said beeblebrox.....

What is the use of banging head against a Wall which can never be cracked..??Mathematicians talk about beauty and elegance in mathematical models, but is there any Meaning in Mathematics?
Yeah. Beauty and elegance.
Mathmatics is the translator between reality and physics. Mathematicians use equations to describe reality, to show how things behave, and move, and react. So math really is elegant in the way that you can use numbers to create equations that show the behavior of objects in the world. Engineers and Physicists can then use that info to advance technology
